18+ years of mental health field experience (11+ as a therapist) serving youth, families, and adults in various settings including residential treatment, public school, therapeutic boarding school, traditional boarding school, community mental health, home, and private practice.

I got into the field of mental health in 2007 working with young people and have never looked back.

Although I have worked with people of all ages, my therapeutic approach tends to work best with those between 14 and 25 years old. I have found that a direct, strength and relationship based approach tends to be the most effective when working with young people who struggle with mood disorders, anxiety, depression, anger, and substance use.

When not working, I enjoy traveling with my family, playing and recording music, and being outdoors doing things such as fishing, hiking, snowmobiling, and making maple syrup.
