25+ years of community mental health, 5 + as a therapist, serving youth, individuals, seniors,
and families. Daily life can place significant pressure on individuals, often affecting emotional
wellbeing, relationships, and overall functioning. In my work, I offer a compassionate and educational
space where individuals can grow, explore new perspectives, and build confidence. I believe that
supporting the full context of an individual’s environment strengthens personal growth, improves
communication skills, and enhances effective problem solving. These foundational pieces help shape
self-esteem, attachment, resilience, and the ability to navigate future challenges.
A key part of my approach includes helping clients develop practical coping strategies, strengthen communication, and create clear, goal oriented plans for change. I integrate direct and honest guidance with a relationship centered, solution-based style to create meaningful and effective therapeutic experiences. My goal is to offer a space where clients feel safe enough to show up authentically, explore vulnerability, and receive consistent support, accountability, and empathy.
In my work with individuals receiving end of life care, I integrate Dignity Therapy as a structured, therapeutic intervention designed to support psychological, existential, and emotional wellbeing. This approach facilitates a guided exploration of the client’s life narrative, core values, and meaningful experiences, helping them articulate what has been most significant throughout their life.
